Apple iPhone XR pre-orders begin, sale starts October 26

Apple has started the pre-orders for the iPhone XR and the phone is expected to be on sale starting October 26. The Phone although still seems expensive is the cheapest iPhone available on the market right now. iPhone XR features an all-screen glass design and comes with an LCD Retina display. Well, it’s another day topic to debate why they still chose to provide an LCD display rather than an OLED one.

The device is available in black, white, blue, coral, yellow, and RED color options. The high-end iPhone XR will hit retail shelves on October 26 in India and other major global markets including the US, UK, UAE etc.

The phone is priced at Rs. 76,900 for the 4 GB RAM, 64GB storage base variant. the 128GB storage variant will cost Rs 81,900 and the 256GB storage model costs Rs 91,900. It is powered by Apple’s own A12 bionic chip which Apple claims to perform well under most of the circumstances. Although it spots a single camera, it does have that bokeh effect.

Although, the trye bokeh effect can only be achieved via a dual camera setup. Software optimizations in software can give an almost realistic effect too, just like we had in the case of Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. However, all the portrait modes are not available on this model. But, anyway it is certainly more affordable than the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.
