Xiaomi has slowly and steadily started rolling out updates of MIUI 10 to Redmi Note 5 Pro users. The update is thought to be fixing some random reboot issues faced by some users while opening the camera app and other minor issues as well. The update details were posted by the company on its official MIUI forums. The update comes with a version number V10.0.2.0.OEIMIFH and has a file size of 152MB.
However, for the users who haven’t updated their devices to MIUI 10, they will have to download the full update, which has a file size of 597MB. Users usually should get the notification for the update. In case you don’t, just manually dive into the settings and download the update manually yourself. As of now, the update is being rolled out in a phased manner and should reach everyone soon. MIUI 10, on the other hand, does enhance the user experience by and large and this update on top of it does make the experience a lot smoother and crispier. Redmi Note 5 Pro sports a 5.99-inch full-HD display with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC paired with Adreno 509 GPU.
The device comes with 4GB/6GB RAM along with 64GB internal storage expandable via a microSD card. It sports a dual camera set up on the back consisting of a 12MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor. On the front, it features a 20MP camera for taking selfies. All of this is backed by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery.
