SpaceX is to send First Ever Private Passenger to the Space

The SpaceX tweeted yesterday that the company is going to send the First ever private passenger to fly around the moon. It is noted that only 24 humans have been to the Moon in history. No one has visited since the last Apollo mission in 1972.

The company does not reveal the private passenger’s name. But we can find out who’s gonna fly on Monday, Sep 17th, 2018.  This is not the first time we hear such an announcement from the Spacecraft company. Back in February 2017, the company said that two people had signed a deal with the company to make a trip around the moon on its Big Falcon heavy Rocket (BFR).

Back in June, when the company canceled its plans to send a pair of space tourists around the Moon, SpaceX insisted that it was a postponement, and not an abandonment, of the company’s space tourism ambitions.

“SpaceX is still planning to fly private individuals around the moon and there is growing interest from many customers,” said James Gleeson, a company spokesperson, at the time.
