Alert! Fake Google Play Store malware may attack your phone.

Beware Android users! A new malware named Glayedtrojan has now been spotted at the Play Store. According to resources, the malware has the capability to adopt after its deployed and can remotely compile. NET code. However, there’s no information available on risk which may come with Glayedtrojan. Yet, the users are suggested to keep note of any the icon on their phones which appear as Google Play Store. Earlier last month as well dozens of fake apps were spotted on the Play Store which was found to be malicious and even involved in stealing users’ data. Although Google took down all these apps from Play Store, there are still many of them lingering around.

Last Month, it was reported that a malware spread from a Google Play Store app could covertly spy on an Android smartphone. This new malware, named as Triout, was found on an app listed on the Google Play Store. The dangerous malware is capable of gathering every call, SMS messages and every picture or video stored in a mobile. It can also capture GPS coordinates of a user. There’s an obvious risk of leak of personal and sensitive data.
Users are advised to review and reconfirm genuinity before downloading any app from the Play Store.
