Flipkart CEO Binny Bansal steps down due to allegations of personal misconduct. Flipkart, one of the renowned companies when it comes to online shopping segment has had major blow as the company’s one of the founders and till present CEO Binny Bansal has resigned from the company.

The decision comes after Binny said that recent events made him distracted and he feels that he wants to resign from the company. Flipkart has been a major dominant when it comes to online shopping in India. Likes of Myntra, Jabong, and UPI payment services like PhonePe are now under Flipkart as well. Binny had been a part of the organisation since he founded it and had lead the company to a grand success in the entire industry. When, Flipkart was launched it usually deals in electronics only. But, the business expanded slowly and steadily and it became a full fledged shopping site. But, happy days didn’t last long as the company finally went under an accusation by Walmart, one of famous shopping industry giant from USA.

Kalyan Krishnamurthy will now take over as the new CEO of Flipkart. Ananth Narayanan will lead Myntra and Jabong, whereas Sameer Nigam will look over PhonePe. The company although doesn’t seem to much affected by the step down of Bansal as of now. And Krishnamurthy claims that they will look forward to the new responsibilities precisely. And make sure every thing is smooth and normal.

Although, it will be a matter of time to see how well Flipkart maintains its position in the industry.
