Palm phone returns with tiny display, roughly half the size of iPhone X

Palm phone returns with a tiny 3.8-inch display, roughly half the size of iPhone X.

As time progresses, the size of smartphones has eventually increased. Gone are the days when phones of screen size 5 or 5.5 inches were considered too big to hold. But, to bring the nostalgia back among the people. A San Francisco based company has launched a new device called Palm spotting a 3.8 inch.

The phone is of course not going to be a main course dish. The phone can serve as a secondary device for many like when you’re going to the gym or just wouldn’t want to carry your original device with you. Starting next month, consumers can buy the credit card-sized Palm for $349. The name was reborn when Palm Ventures licensed it from TCL, a Chinese manufacturer that also owns the once-iconic BlackBerry brand. Palm Ventures’ co-founders, Nuk and Dennis Miloseski, have backgrounds in mobile and design and previously worked at Samsung Electronics Co.

The phone also features an 8-megapixel front shooter along with a 12-megapixel camera on the rear side. There is no headphone jack, but it does have Bluetooth. The company has got a chance to prove itself with something unique and unexpected. The company claims that users will love the device as a second handheld device. Although it boasts a small screen and half the size of iPhone, it can still work as a fully functional Android phone. The Palm phones run on Android 8.1 and can be paired with iPhones as well as Androids. Popular apps work on the phone, including Apple iTunes.
