These Windows 10 versions will reach end of support cycle this year

Microsoft has declared that version 1703 of Windows 10 will no longer soon be under the support cycle umbrella. This version is used in enterprise and education editions of the laptops. The company released the version on April 5, 2017, and the service will end on October 9, 2018.

The support page of the company reads, “Every Windows product has a life cycle. The life cycle begins when a product is released and ends when it’s no longer supported. Knowing key dates in this lifecycle helps you make informed decisions about when to update, upgrade or make other changes to your software.

Although Microsoft has said that although support will end the version will continue to receive 6 months of security updates. The security only updates will be available via normal channels including Windows Update (WU/WUfB), WSUS, the Update Catalog, and enterprise management solutions and are delivered as standard cumulative update packages.

Along with this, the customers will also have an option to get paid extension for their version. The users can contact the Microsoft account team for more information on the paid program.
